The Database Options in Breeze let you easily clean up unwanted data like post revisions, trashed content, and spam comments.

This helps reduce database size and improve your WordPress site’s performance with just a few clicks.

How to Use Breeze Database Options

The Database Options are designed to help you quickly remove unused or outdated data that builds up in your WordPress database.

Here’s how you can use this feature:

  1. Log in to your WordPress Admin Panel.

  2. Go to Settings > Breeze.

  3. Click on the Database Options tab.

Why Clean Your WordPress Database?

Your website stores a lot of information behind the scenes — like post revisions, trashed items, and spam comments.

These are stored in your WordPress database, and over time, they can:

  • Slow down your site

  • Increase server load

  • Use up unnecessary storage space

By cleaning this data regularly, you can speed up your site and reduce database size.

Important: Backup Before Optimizing

Before you make any changes, it’s strongly recommended to back up your WordPress site and database.

This ensures you can restore your data if anything goes wrong.

Clean All Option

If you want to remove all unnecessary data at once (like trashed posts, pages, and comments), you can use the Clean All feature.

How to Use:

  1. Check the box labeled Clean All.

  2. Click the Clean Now button.

This will remove all selected junk items from your database.

Selective Cleaning and Optimization

If you don’t want to clean everything, Breeze allows you to choose specific items to delete. This gives you more control.

You can select:

  • Post revisions

  • Trashed posts and pages

  • Spam or trashed comments

  • Auto-drafts

  • Expired transients

  • Pingbacks and trackbacks

How to Use:

  1. Check the boxes next to the items you want to remove.

  2. Click the Optimize button.

This will clean only the selected items and optimize your database without affecting important content.

What Happens After Cleaning?

After clicking Clean Now or Optimize:

  • Breeze will remove the selected junk data.

  • Your database will be lighter and may perform faster.

  • There will be no impact on your actual posts, pages, or media.

You can repeat this process anytime to maintain your database health.

That’s it! We hope this article was helpful.
