Cloudways Copilot allows you to receive real-time notifications about important server and application issues directly through channels such as Slack, Email, or Webhooks.
From the Notification Settings section, you can control which types of Copilot alerts you want to receive and manage the channels where notifications are delivered.

Access Notification Settings
Step #1 — Open Cloudways Copilot
Log in to the Cloudways Platform and navigate to the Cloudways Copilot section from the platform dashboard.
Click on the settings icon as shown below.
Step #2 — Open Notification Settings
From the left-side menu, click Notification Settings.
The Notification Settings page allows you to manage:
Server-level Copilot notifications
Application-level Copilot notifications
Notification delivery channels
Understanding Notification Settings
The Insight Notifications section controls which Copilot incidents generate alerts.
Server-Level Insights Notifications
This option controls notifications related to server-level issues such as:
High CPU or RAM usage
Service failures
Downtime issues
Web stack problems
Enable this option if you want to receive alerts related to your server health and infrastructure.
Toggle Button
The toggle switch enables or disables server-level notifications:
Enabled: Notifications will be sent
Disabled: Notifications will stop
Application-Level Insights Notifications
This option controls notifications related to application-level issues such as:
Plugin failures
Database issues
Backup failures
Website-related errors
Enable this option if you want to receive alerts related to individual applications hosted on Cloudways.

Understanding Notification Channels
The Channels section displays all configured notification channels used to receive Copilot alerts.
Each column provides the following information:
Channel Name
Displays the name assigned to the notification channel.
Type
Shows the channel type:
Slack
Email
API
Status
Indicates whether the channel is currently active:
Active: Notifications are being sent
Inactive: Notifications are paused
To
Shows the destination where notifications are delivered:
Slack webhook URL
Email address
Webhooks URL
Add Channel
Use the Add Channel button to create a new notification channel.
Filter Notification Channels
You can filter channels using the available filters:
Type Filter
Filter channels by:
Email
Slack
API
Status Filter
Filter channels by:

Inactive
After selecting the required filters, click Apply to view matching channels.
Add a New Notification Channel
Step #1 — Click Add Channel
In the Channels section, click Add Channel.
Step #2 — Select Channel Type
Choose the type of notification channel you want to create, but first click on Add Channel as shown above:
Slack
Sends Copilot notifications to a Slack workspace using a webhook URL.
Sends notifications directly to an email inbox.
Webhooks
Send notifications to your own HTTPS Webhooks for custom integrations.
Step #3 — Configure Channel Details
Name
Enter a recognizable name for the notification channel.
Example:
Production Slack Alerts
Team Email Notifications
Destination
Enter the notification destination:
Slack webhook URL
Email address
Webhooks URL
Status
Choose whether the channel should be:
Active: Start receiving notifications immediately
Inactive: Save the channel without sending notifications
Inactive channels remain saved but do not receive alerts.
Step #4 — Select Events
Choose which Copilot events should trigger notifications.
Examples include:
Web Stack Health
Host Health
Disk Health
Backup Alerts
MySQL Connection Issues
You can select multiple event categories.
Step #5 — Save the Channel
Click Save & Test Channel.
Cloudways Copilot sends a test notification to confirm that the channel is working correctly.
Manage Existing Notification Channels
Each notification channel includes a management menu.
Click the three-dot menu beside a channel to access the following options:
Edit
Modify:
Channel name
Destination
Status
Selected events
Set Active/Inactive
Temporarily stop notifications without deleting the channel.
This is useful when:
Pausing alerts during maintenance
Reducing temporary notification noise
Delete a Notification Channel
Step #1 — Open Channel Options and Click Delete
Click the three-dot menu next to the channel.
Select Delete.
Step #3 — Confirm Deletion
Click Delete Channel in the confirmation popup.
Important:
Deleting a notification channel permanently removes it from Cloudways Copilot. Future notifications will no longer be delivered to that destination.
