Cloudways Copilot's Conversational Capability lets you talk to your Cloudways account the same way you would talk to a person.
Instead of clicking through multiple menus to find information or perform an action, you can simply type a question or request in plain language, such as "Is my server healthy?" or "Restart my application," and Cloudways Copilot will understand it and respond.
This guide explains what this feature is, what it can currently do, who can access it, and how to start using it.
Note:
Cloudways Copilot's Conversational Capability is currently in Private Preview. This means it is only available to a limited group of customers at this time. If you do not see this feature on your account, it is not yet available to you. Cloudways will notify eligible customers by email once they are given access.
What Is Cloudways Copilot's Conversational Capability?
Cloudways Copilot is your AI assistant on the Cloudways Platform. It already helps you monitor your servers and applications and alerts you if something needs your attention.
The Conversational Capability is a new way of interacting with Cloudways Copilot through a chat-style conversation. Instead of only receiving alerts or clicking through the dashboard, you can now ask Cloudways Copilot questions or ask it to perform tasks for you, in your own words, and get an immediate response.
For example, you can ask Cloudways Copilot to:
Check the health or performance of your server.
Get a summary of how your application is running.
Perform routine tasks, such as creating a server, creating an application, taking a backup, or clearing (purging) your application's cache.
Get guidance on how to complete a task on Cloudways, based on Cloudways' official help articles.
All of this happens within the Cloudways Platform, so you do not need to leave the page or use any separate tool.
How Does It Work?
When you type a request into Cloudways Copilot, it works out what you are asking for and responds in one of two ways:
If you are asking it to perform a task (for example, "create a new server"), Cloudways Copilot carries out the action for you on the Cloudways Platform.
If you are asking a question (for example, "how do I add a domain to my application?"), Cloudways Copilot answers using information from Cloudways' official Knowledge Base.
Important:
For your safety, Cloudways Copilot will always ask for your confirmation in the chat before carrying out any action that cannot be undone or that may affect your live server or application (for example, deleting a server). No such action is ever carried out automatically without your approval.
Who Can Use This Feature?
Cloudways Copilot's Conversational Capability is being rolled out gradually to a small group of customers before it becomes available to everyone. During this Private Preview stage:
The feature is only available to a limited, invited group of customers.
If your account has been selected, you will be notified by email, and the feature will be enabled (tagged) on your account.
Only the primary account holder can access and use this feature. Additional team members on the account cannot use it at this stage.
This feature is available to existing Cloudways Copilot users only, at no additional cost during the Private Preview period.
If you have not received an email about this feature, it is not yet available on your account. There is no action required from your side to request early access at this time.
