Frequently Asked Questions
Who can request access to Cloudways Copilot?
All Cloudways users who have a primary account can request early access to Cloudways Copilot. Team members should reach out to their account owners to request access.
Will my team members see the insights as well?
Yes, team members on any primary account automatically get opted in once the primary user opts in. A team member will see the insights in their account based on the team member ACLs that have been specified by the primary account owner e.g. If a team member has full access to one server only, they'll see insights generated for that server only.
How is Cloudways Copilot different from the existing CloudwaysBot?
While CloudwaysBot monitors your servers and sends alerts, Copilot takes it several steps further. It not only detects issues, but also uses AI to help diagnose the root cause and provide specific recommendations for resolution. Think of it as upgrading from a simple alert system, to having an intelligent assistant that tells you both what's wrong and how to fix it.
Will Copilot automatically fix issues on my server?
Currently, Copilot provides diagnostics and recommendations, but doesn't make automatic changes. However, automated fixes are on our roadmap, allowing you to implement Copilot's recommendations with a single click, while still maintaining full control over your server.
Is there an additional price for using Cloudways Copilot?
During Public Preview, Cloudways Copilot remains free of any charges.
What types of issues can Copilot detect and diagnose?
Currently, Copilot monitors and provides insights for:
Webstack performance issues
Host health problems
Disk space limitations
Disk Inode usage concerns
How accurate are Copilot's AI-powered insights? Our engineering teams constantly review generated insights to identify the accuracy of diagnosis and recommendations. Our goal is to be as accurate as possible in our insights, but there is always a chance that an insight turns out inaccurate, that's where your feedback would matter the most as we use it to improve our systems continually and make them stronger.
Can I still access human support when using Copilot?
Absolutely! Copilot complements our human support team rather than replacing it. Think of it as your first responder that can help resolve common issues instantly, while supported by our expert support team available 24/7.
