In this article, you will learn about the procedure of monitoring the running cron jobs of the application using the Cloudways Platform. It is always recommended that you monitor your server and application resources, so you are aware of the current happenings.

Visiting the Application Monitoring Section

The following steps will demonstrate how you can view the statistics mentioned above, so firstly we need to access the application monitoring section of the platform.

Step# 1

Log in to Cloudways Platform, click on the Servers tab from the top menu bar and choose your target server.

Next, click on the www icon located on the right-hand side of the server tab.

Select a target application from the drop-down list.

Step# 2

Click on the Monitoring option from the left menu bar, then click on Analytics and choose Running Crons from the given choices.

Step# 3

This section lists the information about the running crons of the web application with the cron name, CPU consumption percentage, memory consumption percentage, and running time (in seconds). Any crons configured using the Cloudways Cron Management System or Command-Line Interface (CLI) will show in this section (if running).

Important

Since WordPress Crons are part of the WordPress scripts thus do not show up here as this section only provides information about the system cron daemon; however, you can always list the WP-Cron events using the WordPress CLI.

That’s it! We hope this article was helpful. If you need any help, then feel free to search your query on Cloudways Support Center or contact us via chat (Need a Hand > Send us a Message). Alternatively, you can also create a support ticket.
