Monitoring bandwidth consumption is crucial for managing your application's performance and cost-effectiveness. By keeping track of bandwidth usage, you will be aware of each application's bandwidth consumption.
In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to access and interpret bandwidth consumption data for your application using the Cloudways Platform. We’ll cover how to navigate to the Application Monitoring section and explore the Bandwidth Monitoring options to give you a clear understanding of your application's bandwidth usage patterns.
Important
The application bandwidth monitoring section is only available on Cloudways New Interface.
Visiting the Application Monitoring Section
Log in to your Cloudways Platform using your credentials.
From the left menu bar, select Cloudways Flexible and click Servers.
Next, choose the server where your desired application is deployed.
Click the globe icon.
Next, choose your application.
Next, select the Monitoring option from the left menu bar. Next, navigate to Analytics > Traffic.
Select the Bandwidth tab.
Bandwidth Monitoring Section
In the Bandwidth Monitoring section, you can easily track your application's bandwidth usage over a selected period. This allows you to monitor which URLs are consuming the most bandwidth, helping you optimize resource usage and ensure your application performs efficiently.
Time Range: Start by selecting the desired date range or time filter from the available options, which include:
15 minutes
30 minutes
1 hour
1 day
This flexibility allows you to track bandwidth consumption over shorter or longer time periods, depending on your needs.
URLs and Bandwidth: Once you've selected the time range, you will see the top 10 URLs consuming the most bandwidth. For each URL, you will see:
The URL address
The bandwidth consumption in front of it
Important
If you run disk optimization on the server, the results in this bandwidth monitoring section may vary.
