A prompt is a short instruction that explains the type of website you want. For example:

Based on your prompt, the AI Website Builder can generate the website structure, design, pages, text, and other visual elements. After the website is generated, you can continue giving instructions to change its layout or content.
It also allows you to update your website via visual editing tools, code access, preview options, and publishing controls from one place.
The generated website runs inside a Cloudways hosting environment, which means Cloudways creates the server and application resources required to make the website available online.
How Cloudways AI Website Builder Works
The website creation process generally includes the following stages:
Describe the website you want to create.
Sign up to your Cloudways account.
Allow Cloudways to prepare your website environment.
Wait while the AI Website Builder generates your website.

AI credit: A usage unit consumed when the AI Website Builder processes certain website-generation or modification requests. Your remaining credits are displayed inside the editor.
Server: The cloud infrastructure that stores and runs your website.
Application: The website installed and hosted on a Cloudways server.
Website environment: The server, application, and supporting resources prepared for your website.
Website editor: The interface where you can preview the generated website and ask the AI Website Builder to make changes.
Publish: The action that makes the latest version of your website available to visitors.
How to Start from the Cloudways AI Website Builder Website
You can begin creating a website directly from the Cloudways AI Website Builder website.
Step #1 - Describe the Website You Want to Create:
Enter a clear description of your website in the prompt field.
For example:
Create an online store for my fashion brand that sells apparel.
You may also select one of the suggested prompts displayed below the prompt field, such as:
Build a portfolio for me
Create a fashion store
Build an e-booking website
Create a landing page for my SaaS product
After entering or selecting a prompt, click the arrow button to continue.
Tips for Writing a Good Prompt
Include the following information where possible:
The type of website
The business, product, or service
The preferred design style
The pages or sections you need
The intended audience
Any important features
For example:
Create a modern portfolio website for an industrial product designer. Include a home page, project gallery, design process page, insights section, and contact form. Use a dark and professional design.
A detailed prompt gives the AI Website Builder more information to create a relevant first version.

Step #2 - Create Your Cloudways Account:
The Cloudways account registration page opens after you submit your prompt.
You can sign up through one of the available account options or complete the registration form manually.
When completing the form manually, enter:
Your first name
Your last name
Your email address
A secure password
The option that best describes you
Your approximate monthly hosting spending
Enter a promotional code when applicable.
Review the Cloudways Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, select the agreement checkbox, and then click Sign Up.
Important:
Use an email address and phone number that you can access because Cloudways may send verification codes during account creation.
Step #3 - Verify Your Email Address:
Cloudways sends a six-digit verification code to the email address entered during registration.
Enter the verification code in the available fields and click Verify and Continue.
If you do not receive the email:
Check your spam or junk folder.
Confirm that the email address is correct.
Wait until the timer ends and select Resend Code.
Step #4 - Verify Your Phone Number:
Enter your country code and phone number when phone verification is requested.
Cloudways sends a verification code to the entered phone number. Enter the code and click Verify and Continue.
Use the edit icon when you need to correct the phone number.
Note:
Verification requirements may depend on your account and registration method.
Step #5 - Wait for Account Confirmation:
After successful verification, Cloudways confirms that your account is ready.
You are automatically redirected to the Cloudways Platform. If the automatic redirection does not work, select the link provided on the confirmation page.
Step #6 Creating the Website Environment:
If you are a new (trial) customer who started from the Cloudways AI Website Builder landing page, Cloudways automatically creates the environment required to host and generate your website.
During this process, Cloudways prepares resources such as:
A cloud server
The AI Website Builder application
The website editor
The AI credits included with the offer
This process may take a few minutes. Keep the browser window open until the setup is complete.
What is happening during this step?
Cloudways is creating the hosting infrastructure and connecting it to the AI Website Builder. You do not need to configure the server manually.
Step #7 - Wait for the AI Website Builder to Generate Your Website
After the environment is ready, the Cloudways AI Website Builder begins generating the website from your original prompt.
The progress panel displays the tasks being completed, such as:
Setting up the website structure
Creating website files
Preparing design components
Generating styles and layouts
Creating the website preview
Website generation may take approximately four to five minutes, depending on the size and complexity of the request.
Do not close or refresh the browser while the initial website is being generated.
Step #8 - Review the Generated Website:
When generation is complete, the website preview appears in the editor.
The left panel provides a summary of the pages and sections created by the AI Website Builder.
Review the website and confirm that its design, content, and structure match your requirements.
At this stage, you can:
Preview the website
Navigate between its pages
Review the generated content
Switch between available viewing or editing tools
Ask the AI Website Builder to make changes
Publish the website
Step #9 - Ask the AI Website Builder to Make Changes:

Step #10 - Publish the Website:
After reviewing and customizing the website, click Publish in the upper-right corner of the editor.
Publishing applies the latest generated or edited version to your hosted website.
Review the website carefully before publishing, especially:
Headings and page text
Images and branding
Navigation links
Buttons and forms
Contact information
Mobile and desktop layouts
Step #11 - View your App from Flexible
Go to Cloudways Platform and click on Flexible in the left navigation bar.
Click on Applications.
Here, you can see your new WordPress application which you have built with the AI Website Builder.
