Your Cloudways plan has a fixed amount of applications, monthly visits, disk space, and bandwidth you can monitor using the Cloudways Platform. To increase your plan resources, you will need to upgrade your plan. However, if you exceed your monthly allowance for visits, disk space, and bandwidth, the overages will be billed in your next invoice. Please note that your applications will not suffer any downtime or failures due to excessive usage of resources.
In this article, we will show how you can monitor your specific application resources and overall plan resources.
How to Monitor Your Application Resources
Log in to your Cloudways Platform using your email address and password.
Select My Applications, located under Cloudways Autonomous, from the left-hand menu.
Next, select your desired application.
Scroll down to the Resources section, and you will notice the following information:
Total Visits
Monthly visits refer to the number of visits your site gets from unique IP addresses. In this section, you will see the total number of visits your application has received so far since the start of the month. Additionally, it also displays the total visits from the previous month, allowing you to compare and analyze trends over time.
Total Disk Space
Here, you will notice the disk space that your application currently occupies in your Cloudways plan. An application consists of a database and web application files, which your disk stores.
Bandwidth
This section shows the total bandwidth consumption by your application since the start of the month. You can also filter the statistics using the start and end dates. Furthermore, it also displays the total bandwidth usage from the previous month, providing a comprehensive overview of your bandwidth consumption patterns.
Scroll down to the Disk Space Breakdown section, and you will notice the following information:
Disk Space Breakdown
The Disk Space Breakdown section provides a detailed overview of your application's disk space usage, helping you to understand how storage is being utilized.
This section is divided into two subsections: Folder Usage and Database Usage.
Folder Usage
In the Folder Usage subsection, you can see the breakdown of the top 5 folders within your application, ranked by their disk space consumption. This allows you to quickly identify which folders are occupying the most space, enabling you to manage your resources more effectively.
The Folder Usage section specifically focuses on the public_html directory, which is the root directory for your web files. Additionally, the Folder Usage section displays the current application folder size, giving you an at-a-glance view of the total space used by your application.
Database Usage
The Database Usage subsection lists the top 5 database tables based on their size, providing you with insights into which tables are consuming the most space. This information is crucial for maintaining an optimized database and ensuring efficient performance.
Alongside the table breakdown, you will also see the current application database usage, which shows the total size of your application's database. This helps you monitor and manage your database storage to avoid potential issues related to space constraints.
You can click Refresh to fetch the latest available usage-related information. By using the Disk Space Breakdown feature, you can easily monitor and optimize your application's storage usage, ensuring that you stay within your plan's limits and maintain optimal performance.
How to Monitor Your Plan Resources

Select Plan Overview, located under Cloudways Autonomous, from the left-hand menu.
Under Plan Overview, you will notice the following:
Total Installed Applications
Here, you can check how many applications are running under your plan and the total number of applications allowed on your plan. If you want to install more applications than the allowed applications, you can simply upgrade your plan.
Total Visits
Monthly visits refer to the number of visits your site gets from unique IP addresses. Here, you will notice the total number of visits that all of your applications have received so far since the start of the month. Additionally, it also displays the total visits from the previous month, providing a historical comparison to help you understand traffic trends and patterns.
Bandwidth
This section shows the total bandwidth consumption by all your applications since the start of the month. It also shows the total bandwidth usage from the previous month, giving you a complete picture of your bandwidth consumption over time.
Total Disk Space
Here, you will notice the disk space all your applications currently occupy in your Cloudways plan. An application consists of a database and web application files, which your disk stores.
Under Resource Analysis, you will notice a detailed analysis of your resource consumption graphically, e.g., visits, bandwidth, disk space.
CloudwaysBot Notifications
CloudwaysBot will send you notifications via email when you are close to exhausting your plan resources. It will first notify you when the threshold reaches 80%, then at 90%, and finally when it reaches 100%. The notifications will be sent to your Cloudways-registered email address.
